TIA-942 Certification

TIA certification is a process that involves obtaining the necessary education and/or experience to achieve professional recognition as an expert in the field of international trade. In order to become certified, candidates must either attend a course or have relevant experience in the field of international trade, and then sit for an academic examination targeted to their specific area(s). Once a candidate has graduated from the course and has on average completed 25 contact hours of related professional experience, they must take an exam. The examination is different for each certification path, and candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions and information provided with the exam to make sure they can properly prepare themselves for their particular path.

At this time, there are three certification paths in TIA certification program:

In conjunction with its certification program, TIA also offers a number of courses that aim at increasing the knowledge level of its members on various topics related to international trade. TIA-942 Credential is a specific type of certification offered through TIA. The candidate writes the examination and pays the certification fee. Once the required fees have been received, they will be sent an email to confirm their application and schedule of required exams, including dates and location. If you commit to taking any courses before receiving your certificate of compliance (COC), you must pay a $50 non-refundable deposit at the time of application. You will not be allowed into any class without this deposit payment. TIA reserves the right to adjust or cancel course registrations if there is insufficient enrollment to process all applications. TIA is committed to an inclusive environment where all members are treated equally. TIA has a policy on the matter of discrimination: The TIA-942 Certification is a two-day course designed for professionals who have completed the TIA Professional Certification examination and wish to further their knowledge of global trade management which are all included in TIA Dumps. The course covers a broader range of subjects than the certification exam itself and will be conducted at an approved site in each region. Upon completion of this program, participants who choose to do so are eligible to sit for the TIA certification exam. The Professional Development Program (PDP) is a two-day, multi-track, comprehensive program that provides training in seminars and workshops held around Canada. This program is open to professionals with an active membership (or professional development needs). TIA members can elect to participate in a PDP session, which is generally held in the fall, winter, or spring with subject areas changing annually. The cost is $150 CAD for students and seniors.
